Ingredients
1 kg sauerkraut
1 kg rice
400 g smoked sausage
1 kg ground meat
400 ml SABI sour cream
150 g SABI whipping cream
2 pieces onions
ground red paprika
pork lard
salt and pepper
Procedure
1. Stew the sauerkraut in a pot with onion cut into strips and ground paprika until soft (use 1 onion). Cook the rice according to instructions but not completely soft.
2. In some pork lard, fry the second onion finely chopped, then add ground meat. Season with salt and pepper as needed, and optionally add other herbs to taste.
3. Grease a baking dish with the remaining pork lard and place a layer of stewed sauerkraut on the bottom. On top, add a layer of rice, ground meat, and sliced smoked sausage.
4. Mix SABI whipping cream and sour cream, add salt and pepper. Spread half of the cream mixture over the sausage layer and repeat the layering process (sauerkraut, rice, meat, sausage).
5. The last layer on top is stewed sauerkraut, spread the remaining cream mixture on it and bake for 45 minutes in a preheated oven at 200°C.
