Our contest RECYCLE AND WIN has been running for the 20th time. Every contest year, more than 300 schools participate. We have distributed a huge number of prizes to schools and delighted, we dare say, an incredible number of children's hearts. And most importantly, in the last 19 years, we have managed to recycle 100 tons of tetrapak and 30 tons of SABI caps, which has undoubtedly relieved our beautiful nature.
"When we started the RECYCLE AND WIN contest twenty years ago, we had no idea how our schools and kindergartens would embrace it. Like with every customer activity, we did not know if our customers would be willing to recycle SABI packaging. Of course, we owe a lot mainly to children, as the contest is intended for them. Thanks to them and their requests to parents, we have collected a huge amount of SABI packaging in less than two decades, which went directly to recycling. We are glad that young generations (and some have already reached adulthood) have learned to recycle and protect nature. Thanks to the above numbers, we see that it is not negligible and this project has meaning," said marketing manager Sylvia Kupcová.
The goal of this contest is, in cooperation with preschool and school facilities (and of course parents), to teach young generations, starting with preschoolers, that packaging which takes a long time to decompose must be separated and recycled. Children are rewarded for their work and skill with material prizes that change every year.
Besides quantitative collection, children also participate in the artistic part of the contest. From caps and tetrapak, they create various artworks and beautiful songs, whether from the world of fairy tales or current social events. The creations schools bring to us every year are really beautiful and full of imagination. Children's creativity, as well as the creativity and enthusiasm of school project coordinators, has no limits, so we definitely recommend everyone to come in summer to see the exhibition of SABI packaging creations, which is regularly placed (after the end of a specific edition) in one of the shopping centers in Prešov. "The RECYCLE AND WIN contest consists of 7 categories, with categories A to D covering collection of packaging according to the size of the preschool/school facility (to avoid unfairness due to the number of participating pupils), then artistic categories E and F, which represent cooperation of teachers and children in creating songs and artworks about SABI, and last but not least, the newest category G, where individuals compete on the monthly theme according to the current assignment on our social networks. Prizes from category G are awarded every month, starting November 2022 until April 2023. Last year we rewarded contestants with several iPhones, but this year we came up with something even better, so you have something to look forward to. Registration for the newest 20th edition of the contest is open from September 20, 2022. If the preschool or school facility your child attends has not yet joined the contest, there is time to do so until November 30, 2022.
