Build strong immunity in the fight against COVID-19

It is generally known that immunity is very important for human health. People with weak immunity are prone to various diseases, including viral ones.

In today's very difficult situation, it is more than necessary to protect and continuously strengthen your immunity. Why? Because a fierce virus COVID-19, also known as coronavirus, has appeared in the world, which has greatly affected our lives in various spheres. It did not choose its victims; it attacked people of different origins and nationalities without distinction, whether rich, poor, old, or children. To be strong and resistant to the virus, it is necessary to have a strong immune system. It is scientifically proven that up to 80% of the immune system is located in the intestines. What does this imply? That it is very important what we intake into our digestive tract. To have a strong immune system, we should consume fermented dairy products at regular intervals. Because for the best functioning of the intestines, consumption of fermented dairy products and cheeses containing live probiotic cultures and prebiotics (fiber inulin) is very beneficial. Thanks to the content of these components, SABI products are more than beneficial in the fight against viruses such as coronavirus (COVID-19).

In which SABI products can you find probiotic cultures and prebiotics?

Mr. Ing. Kočiš, head of SABI product production, answered this question: "All SABI products contain a wealth of nutritious and health-beneficial substances. But if I have to focus mainly on products that have a direct impact on the immune system in the intestinal tract, these are:

  • all SABI yogurts, even lactose-free yogurts - contain Lactobacillus bulgaricus, Streptococcus thermophilus, and bifidobacteria,
  • Sabinovská hrudka and Balkan cheese - contain Lactobacillus paracasei,
  • Volovec – contains Lactobacillus helveticus,
  • SABI acidophilus milk (both plain and flavored) - contains Lactobacillus acidophilus,
  • Kefir milk – contains kefir culture,
  • Bifid milk with fiber – contains bifidobacteria and prebiotics,
  • Cottage cheese – contains Lactobacillus paracasei,
  • Cottage cheese (all types) – contain bifidobacteria,
  • Sour cream – contains bifidobacteria."

Mr. Kočiš further adds that this is not a one-time medicine. Building a strong immune system mainly requires time. However, regular consumption of fermented dairy products is the best way to protect yourself against such viruses and stay healthy.
