Homemade SABI Loaf

Ingredients

500 g plain flour
285 g SABI milk
60 g softened SABI butter
11 g salt
6 g instant yeast / 20 g fresh yeast
1 pc beaten egg for brushing
Čergov Chilli flakes
vegetables to taste


Instructions

1. Mix flour with salt and yeast, add milk and softened butter. Knead the dough until smooth, non-sticky, and completely separates from the bowl.

2. Place the dough in a bowl greased with a little oil, cover with foil, and let rise.

3. When the dough doubles in volume, place it on a floured work surface and divide in half. Roll each piece into a rectangle and roll tightly from one end to the other to form a smooth loaf.

4. Place the finished loaf on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, let it rise for about 30 minutes. Brush with egg and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C until golden.

5. Let the loaf cool, slice, lightly toast the slices, and serve with quality cheese, for example Čergov Chilli, and vegetables to taste.
