Ingredients

CHEESE SAUCE

2 pcs processed cheese Sabina, Sabik or Volovec
4 tbsp SABI sour cream
a few tablespoons of water from the dumplings

DUMPLINGS

600 g potatoes
2.5 cups all-purpose flour
2 pcs eggs
2 tsp salt

SERVING

200 g streaky bacon

Instructions

1. Peel the potatoes and grate them finely on a grater or blend them with a mixer into a smooth mash.

2. Add eggs and salt to the potatoes and gradually mix in the flour until a thicker dough forms.

3. Bring salted water to a boil in a pot and use a dumpling maker, spoon, or knife to drop small pieces of dough into the water.

4. Cook the dumplings until they float to the surface (about 2-3 minutes), then drain them.

5. Cut the bacon into small pieces and fry it in a pan until golden brown.

6. Add the processed cheese and sour cream to the cooked dumplings and mix well together. If the consistency is too thick, you can add a few tablespoons of the dumpling water.

7. Serve the dumplings with the fried bacon.

TIP FROM KAROTKA: Dumplings can also be served with fried onions and go perfectly with a glass of SABI Acidophilus milk.
