Curd Dumplings with Poppy Seeds

250 g SABI curd
170 – 200 g whole grain coarse flour
1 egg
a pinch of salt
SABI butter
ground poppy seeds
powdered sugar


Procedure

Mix curd with egg and a pinch of salt. Add flour until a non-sticky dough forms.

Roll dough into a cylinder and cut into approx. 2 cm pieces, then roll each into a dumpling shape. Boil dumplings in salted boiling water.

When they float to the surface, drain, sprinkle with poppy seeds mixed with sugar, and pour melted butter over.
