For the chocolate layer:
200 g dark chocolate
150 g SABI butter
200 g granulated sugar
3 pcs eggs
100 g plain flour
1/4 tsp salt
150 g fresh or preserved cherries (pitted)
For the curd layer:
250 g fat-free spreadable SABI curd
100 g powdered sugar
1 pc egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
Procedure
1. Melt chocolate and butter in a water bath, stir until smooth and let cool slightly. In a bowl, whip eggs with sugar until light and fluffy, add melted chocolate. Mix well and sift in flour with salt, gently mix until smooth batter forms.
2. Whip spreadable SABI curd with powdered sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
3. Line a 20 x 20 cm baking pan with baking paper and pour in half of the chocolate batter. Spread the curd mixture over the chocolate layer and smooth it out. Add the remaining chocolate batter on top in dollops and create a marbled pattern using a knife or skewer. Finally, evenly distribute cherries on top.
4. Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C for about 30-35 minutes until edges are firm but the center remains slightly soft. After baking, let cool completely and cut out heart shapes using a cutter. Decorate, for example, with fresh raspberries and enjoy with your loved ones.
