The management of Milk-Agro thanks its long-term employees for their loyalty, diligence, and faithfulness. At the same time, it wishes them much success in their further years of cooperation.
Mrs. Ľubica Petričková is one of the long-term employees of Milk-Agro. We talked with her about her beginnings and gradual career growth. She currently works as the manager of the Opal 2 retail store in Prešov.
How long have you been working in this company?
Twenty years. I started on October 27, 1997.
That's quite a long time. What do you like here?
Everything. I started as a saleswoman; I really liked the gradual renovation of the store, how everything was renewed, how computers came, and so on. And besides, I always enjoyed this work.
And how do you perceive the Milk-Agro company itself?
Positively. I think that in the market, in all the competition that is everywhere here, it holds very well. I always liked the management's approach to employees.
Your favorite SABI products?
Definitely yogurts and Cottage Cheese. From yogurts, coffee, cocoa, raspberry; from cottage, tasty are white, chive, or strawberry. From cheeses, I prefer brick cheese.
What are your powers as a manager?
All of them (laugh). For example, I choose people for the team.
Do you have a big influence on how many customers you have?
I think a lot depends on what kind of team we are (and we are a SUPER team) and what the atmosphere is like here. But it also happens that some come and leave without buying.
Why do you think customers choose your store?
It helped us a lot that we have a rich assortment here. The customer finds what they need here. So this is the strategy – to have everything for the customer so that they come and leave satisfied.
Do you think the way you arrange the store affects sales?
Definitely yes. Certainly, the layout, the display of goods, cleanliness – all this does a lot. And what pleases us is that customers praise us that the store is practically arranged, that it is cozy and nice here.
How do you arrange the store?
It is a combination. We also communicate with the company management. Mrs. Ing. Matysová (deputy director for retail) and Mrs. Ditrichová (business manager) advise us a lot. We also get inspired by other stores, and if we like something, we apply it here.
What message do you have for customers?
Well, I definitely want to thank our esteemed customers this way for coming to us and being loyal. We appreciate it because there is strong competition from other large shopping centers around here. We are happy about it and believe they will continue to come with joy.
