As every year, this year too, our company employees enjoyed pleasant moments thanks to beautiful creations by children from all over Slovakia. Since March, many creations made from SABI packaging have been accumulating in the large meeting room, and we must say that the creations as well as the melodic songs once again exceeded our expectations.
The marketing department of the company has among its duties a demanding but basically nice task, which is organizing the Recycle and Win competition. Last month, the 19th edition of the competition ended, and up to 260 schools participated in various categories. Our competition consists of several categories to avoid unfairness, for example, regarding age differences between kindergartens and elementary schools. Each category is precisely specified and defined on our website sutaz.milkagro.sk. Contestants this year competed for shopping vouchers for the school, school principal, competition coordinator, as well as the best collectors and their families. Regarding prizes for the children-collectors themselves, they won especially interesting prizes such as electric scooters, tablets, mugs, t-shirts, family games, pens, etc. Schools that did not place in the top positions were also happy. Our company also organizes the purchase of caps and Tetra Paks from non-winning schools, which both cleans our planet and financially supports the given school and its pupils.
“We are proud and very pleased that this year we managed to collect a truly commendable amount of packaging. Together we collected 2 tons of caps and up to 10 tons of Tetra Paks. The most caps were collected by CZŠ - Church Elementary School of St. Egidius in Bardejov, which brought us a total of 100,000 g. Second was ZŠ Hviezdoslavova from Lipany with 77,000 g, then MŠ Ražňany with 29,840 g, and finally ZŠ Poliakovce with 19,000 g. Regarding Tetra Paks, the most was collected by ZS in Kračúnovce with 780,570 g, then ZŠ with MŠ from Pečovská Nová Ves with 415,340 g, then MS Brezovička with 285,000 g, and finally Church Elementary School of St. Demeter from Ražňany, which collected a commendable 194,330 g,” summarized the company’s deputy director, Mgr. Matej Bálint.
EVALUATION OF CATEGORIES E1 AND E2 - CREATIONS FROM SABI PACKAGING
Up to 6 schools could win in each category. This year we received a total of 30 imaginative and truly beautiful creations made from SABI caps and Tetra Paks. In the category designated for kindergartens (E1), first place went to MS Kolačkov, which created a milk counter from SABI packaging. Also winning were MŠ Poloma with the playful idea "Človeče, daj si SABI", MŠ Šášová with a beautiful Snow White, MŠ Uzovce with large violins "Play this for me", MŠ Želmanovce with a cute little deer "Integráčik", and last but not least ŠMŠ Košice with a nice boy Sabík in the garden.
In the next category for elementary and secondary schools (E2), there were also beautiful creations that greatly pleased us. First place went to SŠ Pod Papierňou Bardejov with a nice creation of a SABI egg with animals, second place to ZŠ Uzovce with the creation "Wild West Indian Dream." Third place went to SŠ Bl. Biskupa Gojdiča with a practical SABI kitchen, then SZŠ Giraltovce with the fairy tale Donkey and Shrek, then ZŠ Giraltovce with treats Ice Cream Cone and Pizza, and last but not least KAC Prešov with a beautiful creation "Dove of Peace."
If you are curious about your children’s creations, you can currently come and see them at the NOVUM shopping center in Prešov. There is currently an exhibition of our SABI creations, and as far as we know, many visitors are already stopping by. The exhibition will last until the end of summer, so don’t delay.

EVALUATION OF CATEGORIES F1 AND F2 - SONGS ABOUT SABI
We were also pleasantly surprised in these categories by the rhythmic and beautiful songs the contestants managed to create. We received a total of 23 songs, so it was really difficult to select only 12 of them (6 schools in category F1 and 6 in category F2). In category F1, designated for kindergartens, first place went to MŠ Jurkovičova from Prešov, second to MŠ Ražňany, third to MŠ Lipovce, fourth to MŠ Radatice, fifth to MŠ Záhradné, and the group of winners was closed by ŠMŠ Matice Slovenskej from Prešov. In category F2, designated for elementary and secondary schools, we also selected rightful winners. The songs were diverse, including rap and pop, so it was challenging to decide unanimously. First place was defended by ZŠ s MŠ Poloma, second place went to the school ČSL armády in Prešov, third to ZŠ in Milpoš, fourth to ZŠ ČSL armády in Moldava N.B., fifth to ZŠ Krosnianska in Košice, and the group was closed by SOŠ polytechnic in Liptovský Mikuláš.
Our company cares that future generations have a better life, and through the Recycle and Win competition, we motivate our youth to join us and protect their land.
