Ham and Cheese Rolls

1 package rolled puff pastry
4 tbsp tomato paste (or ketchup)
8 slices ham
100 g Sabinovská tehla cheese 45% (grated)
1 egg
ground basil to taste

Procedure

Preheat the oven to 200 °C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

Spread the puff pastry and brush with tomato paste or ketchup, sprinkle with ground basil. Then arrange slices of ham and sprinkle with grated cheese.

Roll the dough and then cut into slices, placing them on the lined baking tray. Brush each roll with beaten egg. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes. Enjoy your meal!
