Savory Broccoli Pie

Dough:
220 g plain flour
½ packet baking powder
salt
120 g soft spreadable curd cheese
in casing SABI
5 tablespoons semi-skimmed milk SABI
5 tablespoons oil
SABI butter
breadcrumbs

Filling:
500 g broccoli
salt
150 g ham
1 leek
200 ml 12% cooking cream SABI
3 eggs
ground black pepper
Provençal herbs
100 g ripened Volovec cheese or
Sabinovská tehla cheese


Procedure

Clean and divide broccoli into smaller florets. Cut thicker stalks and finely chop the core. Boil briefly in salted water, no longer than three minutes. Drain and cool broccoli, let drain. Sift flour with baking powder and a pinch of salt. Mix soft curd cheese with milk and vegetable oil, add to flour. Knead a pliable dough and roll into an oval sheet.

Grease a pie dish with butter and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Place the dough sheet in the dish and press to the sides. Prick the bottom with a fork. Cut ham into strips, clean leek into rings, and spread all with broccoli on the dough in the dish. Beat eggs with cooking cream. Mix in half of the grated cheese. Season with salt, ground black pepper, and Provençal herbs and pour evenly over the filling in the dish. Sprinkle the pie with the remaining cheese. Bake in the oven at 180 ºC for about 40 minutes until golden.
