300 g plain flour
200 g butter SABI
80 g powdered sugar
5 pcs eggs
lemon zest from 1 lemon
baking powder (optional)
400 g chopped walnuts
180 g cane sugar
150 ml maple syrup
1 pc vanilla sugar
rum to taste
Procedure
1. First, prepare a smooth dough from flour, 150 g softened butter SABI, and sugar. Add 1 egg and grated lemon zest to the mixture. Let the dough rest in the fridge for 30 minutes.
2. Prepare a cake pan by greasing with butter or lining with baking paper. Roll out the rested dough thinly and place it in the prepared cake pan.
3. Next, prepare the filling. In a bowl, mix 4 eggs, vanilla sugar, maple syrup, melted butter SABI (50 g), cane sugar, and rum. Mix well and finally add finely chopped walnuts, folding them gently with a spoon.
4. Pour the mixture over the dough in the cake pan.
5. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 45-50 minutes.
