Dough:
200 g soft spreadable curd cheese
in casing SABI
1 egg
50 g powdered sugar
50 g SABI butter
120 g semi-coarse flour
salt
For coating:
SABI butter
breadcrumbs
Blueberry sauce:
blueberry compote
150 g granulated sugar
2 tablespoons potato starch
100 ml water
whipping cream 33% SABI
1 vanilla sugar
Procedure
Whip butter with sugar until fluffy. Add curd cheese, whole egg, a pinch of salt, and flour. Knead into a smooth dough. Roll into a cylinder and shape dumplings (šúľance). Boil in salted water for about 8 minutes. While still warm, coat in breadcrumbs and melted butter. Mash blueberries and cook briefly with sugar. Add 2 tablespoons potato starch dissolved in 100 ml water. Cook for 2 minutes. Serve dumplings topped with blueberry sauce and decorated with thick whipped cream.
