Christmas Mini Cheeseburgers

1/2 kg semi-coarse flour
30 g melted SABI butter
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cube yeast
300 ml SABI milk
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp ground cumin
sesame for sprinkling
egg for brushing

For filling:

ketchup/mustard
Čergov cheese
small meat patties
onion, pickled cucumber, hot peppers, lettuce, tomato - anything you like in burgers.


Procedure

1. Make a sponge from lukewarm milk, yeast, and sugar and let rest in a warm place for 15 minutes.

2. Add sifted flour, melted SABI butter, salt, and cumin. Knead a softer dough and let rise covered with a cloth in a warm place.

3. After about an hour (when dough has risen), roll out to 1.5 cm thickness. Cut circles with a small cup and place on a greased baking tray. Let circles rise briefly, brush with beaten egg, sprinkle with sesame, and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 30 minutes.

4. Let baked mini buns cool and fill with Čergov cheese, mini meat patties, and ketchup/mustard. You can add anything you like in burgers, even replace baked meat with salami or ham, or use mini sausages.
