DOUGH

2 pcs eggs
100 g sugar
80 g SABI butter
150 g semi-coarse flour
1 tsp baking powder
100 ml SABI milk
a pinch of salt

CURD LAYER

250 g SABI curd
2 tbsp powdered sugar
1 pc vanilla sugar
200 g fresh strawberries
powdered sugar for sprinkling


Procedure

1. Beat eggs with sugar, add melted butter and milk. Stir in flour with baking powder and salt, and pour the batter into a baking pan lined with parchment paper.

2. Mix curd with sugar and vanilla, you can blend them together until smooth. Spoon dollops onto the dough, or pour a layer of blended curd over the dough.

3. Cut strawberries in half, arrange on top and bake at 180 °C for about 25 minutes until the edges turn slightly golden.

4. After cooling, sprinkle the cake with powdered sugar or serve with a generous layer of whipped cream. For strawberry lovers, add an extra portion on top.
