Chocolate-Curd Apple Cake

25 g SABI butter
200 g SABI curd cheese with curds
1 pc egg
180 g dark chocolate
sweetened whipping fat 33% (for decoration)
2 pcs larger apples
100 g sugar
150 g plain flour
1 tsp baking powder
a pinch of cinnamon and salt


Instructions

Melt the butter together with broken chocolate in a water bath and let it cool slightly. In a bowl, whisk the egg with sugar until foamy, add the curd cheese and mix.

Gradually stir in the chocolate-butter mixture. Finally, add flour mixed with baking powder, a pinch of salt, and cinnamon.

Mix into a smooth batter, then add thinly sliced apples (peeled). Pour the batter into a baking form lined with baking paper; you can also arrange apple slices on top of the batter.

Bake at 180 °C for about 35–40 minutes. Let cool and serve decorated with whipped sweetened fat.
