Our Production and the SABI Brand

MILK–AGRO, spol. s r.o. is a producer of a wide range of dairy products manufactured under the SABI brand. The SABI brand means delicious taste and guaranteed quality of dairy products prepared for our consumers with love and care. Milk and its products represent an irreplaceable component of human nutrition and health. They are exceptional due to the content of probiotic cultures, which have many beneficial effects on the human body and are used to improve the immune system. Each product type is characterized by a different probiotic culture that gives it a specific taste, aroma, and consistency. Our SABI yogurts have the highest representation of live yogurt cultures, specifically Lactobacillus delbrueckii subsp. bulgaricus, Streptococcus thermophilus, and Bifidobacterium lactis. In the category of fermented milk drinks, the most commonly used probiotic cultures are:

- acidophilus milk - Lactobacillus acidophilus
- bifid milk and sour cream - Bifidobacterium lactis
- kefir milk - cream and kefir culture.

In the group of fresh cheeses, probiotic cultures Bifidobacterium lactis are used in Cottage cheese products and Lactobacillus casei in Sabinovská hrudka.

In the dairy production sector, especially in the production of fermented milk products, particularly yogurts, curd, and creams, the company has profiled itself as a significant Slovak producer. Recently, it has been dynamically expanding its activities to include the production of fresh and ripened cheeses. An integral part of the production activities, concentrated at the Sabinov production plant, is milk processing into dried dairy products and butter production.
