The milk entering production comes from strictly monitored farms. MILK – AGRO, s.r.o. carefully selects its suppliers.
Cows from which the milk comes must be one hundred percent healthy; nothing that would reduce the quality of the milk or endanger its suitability for further processing may be added to their feed. Cows must have access to fresh grass, be kept in clean conditions and a suitable environment.
Milking cows
The milking process, milk quality, and health condition of the cow's udder are influenced primarily by the chosen milking technology, the milker's work procedure, and the cow's reaction to the external environment. Several work procedures have been automated in recent years, and the technical reliability of machines has improved.
Milk reception
Upon arrival at the milk reception of MILK-AGRO, under the supervision of the milk reception worker, a proportional and average sample of milk is taken from the tanker, which undergoes control – i.e., a screening test for the presence of antibiotics and inhibitory substances (antibiotic residues - if the test is positive, it is repeated once more. Milk may only be released from the tanker if the input tests show its quality and health safety.
