The company MILK-AGRO has entered into a cooperation with the newest shopping center in Prešov – NOVUM on the occasion of the exhibition of children's creations. With the end of the school year, the eighteenth edition of this exceptionally popular competition Recycle and Win was finalized, but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it was not possible to prepare an exhibition of children's creations from the previous 17th edition in 2020. Since MILK-AGRO did not want to deprive these clever children of joy, it decided to prepare the exhibition additionally. Beautiful creations from schools and kindergartens from the 17th edition of the competition could be seen in the NOVUM shopping center from May 1, 2021, to June 30, 2021, on the 0th floor.
The company MILK-AGRO has been organizing the Recycle and Win competition for 18 years. Together with children, it rejoices in their great successes and appreciates children's effort with various interesting prizes. The competition takes place in several categories, consisting of collecting, sorting, and ultimately creating beautiful creative works, sculptures, and drawings. “We have been organizing the Recycle and Win competition with great joy for 18 years. Thanks to all these years, we have collected more than 200 tons of waste. We do it for our Earth and children. Our nature is not indifferent to us, and therefore we will continue to develop our activity in recycling and environmental protection,” said the deputy director of MILK-AGRO, Mgr. Matej Bálint.
The Recycle and Win competition consists of 7 categories and 11 subcategories for groups and individuals. About 60 school and preschool institutions register every year in the creative category E, and gradually during the school year, the largest meeting room of MILK-AGRO is decorated with these beautiful creations.
“Every year, schools bring us several wonderful creative works, small and large, made from sorted SABI packaging. My colleagues and I are constantly more and more surprised by the ideas children and their teachers can realize. It is nice to come to the meeting room every day and look at the beautiful creations of talented children. We are glad that the public could also enjoy these beautiful creations, especially thanks to the exhibition in the NOVUM shopping center,” said Mrs. Sylvia Kupcová, purchasing manager and marketing employee of MILK-AGRO.
The newly opened but all the more popular Prešov shopping center NOVUM is very interested in events related to recycling and environmental protection. As part of its own events, it rewards its customers with eco gifts such as beeswax wraps, bamboo cups, or bowls. The exhibition of creations made from recycled SABI packaging is exactly the kind of activity the center wants to engage in in the future.
“I know the Recycle and Win competition with MILK-AGRO well from the previous workplace (shopping center), where we also exhibited sculptures made of recycled SABI materials in the passage. Our center perceives Recycle and Win very positively, and we are glad to have been part of it. Nowadays, more attention is finally paid to ecology and sustainability as such, and therefore we also try to act as ecologically as possible. Of course, within the competition, children learn something about recycling and also use their creativity. We were very pleased when MILK-AGRO contacted us regarding the exhibition of creative works. We agreed mainly because we like the overall idea of the project and it is close to us. And of course, we are happy to support children's talents. I must say that the feedback from the center's customers was very positive. Besides comments on our social networks, we caught our customers taking photos of the sculptures and were also interested in the material from which the sculptures are made. The exhibition lasted 2 months with us, so we believe that customers had enough time to properly enjoy these beautiful children's creations,” said the marketing manager of NC NOVUM, Mgr. Petra Krchová.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN THE COMPETITION?
First of all, it is necessary to register your school for the new, 19th edition of the competition within the predetermined deadline and according to the exact instructions regarding collection, published on our website www.milkagro.sk/sutaz. Do not forget to state the name of the school, the number of pupils, and the category in which you want to compete. And off to the COLLECTION!
